Walled City Music Festival
The Walled City Music Festival returns to Derry this March with a stunning line-up of top-class classical musicians from around the world. The northwest’s premier classical music festival will take place in venues including The Glassworks and Ulster University Magee from Thursday 5 March to Sunday 8 March.

Rising Star Piano Extravaganza (4 Arizona State University students, including the winner of last year’s Walled City Music International Piano Festival, Selene Wu)
Friday 6 March, Great Hall Magee, 7.30pm
Beethoven 250th Celebration Concert with leading American pianist Awadagin Pratt, Benyounes Quartet, Cathal Breslin (piano) and Sabrina Hu (flute)
Saturday 7 March, Glassworks, 7.30pm
Trio Festivale (piano, cello, flute) performing newly-commissioned works, including a piece by Derry-born composer Christopher Norby entitled 'Some Day: A Piece about Civil Rights'
Sunday 8 March, Glassworks, 7.30pm
Bang on a Can All Stars, 6-piece amplified classical, jazz, rock, world and experimental ensemble from New York, performing a programme of film and music
