Head of Commercial and Communications
Woolwich Works in London is hiring a Head of Commercial and Communications.
The Head of Commercial and Communications will manage the Event Sales Manager and support them with business planning and meeting their sales targets. You will manage the marketing and ticketing functions to ensure the Woolwich Works brand is built and ticket sales generated. You will have a good understanding of event operations and will line manage and guide the Event Managers. This role will also be responsible for generating additional income streams around seasonal programming, working alongside the Executive Director.
The team at Woolwich Works is looking for a commercially minded events professional. You’ll have worked in an arts or entertainment environment operationally. You’ll understand marketing and communications and will have a broad understanding of ticketing. You will be able to empathise and manage conflicting requirements across the trust. You’ll have an understanding of event safety management and will be used to dealing with promoters and clients directly. You’ll have worked with a range of suppliers from caterers, PR agencies, web developers and production/technical companies to security.
