Departmental Lecturer in Music

The Faculty of Music at the University of Oxford is looking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in Music. This is for a fixed term of three years with effect from 1 September 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The appointee will give 36 hours of lectures/seminars per year and will undertake examining and graduate supervision.

Applications are welcome from candidates with expertise in the field of Music Psychology, and/or with related interests in the sociology, philosophy or anthropology of music.

Candidates must hold a doctorate in music, or in a related field (but with clear evidence of significant expertise in and knowledge of music), already awarded at the time of application.
