The Arts Council is recruiting a Head of Music and Opera for a full-time, permanent position at Higher Executive Officer (HEO) grade. Reporting to the Performing Arts Director, the role involves managing the Council’s support for a wide range of music and opera styles. Responsibilities include policy development, grants management, team leadership, and contributing to cross-organisational projects. The position plays a key role in balancing support for established organisations and emerging practitioners. The successful candidate will work to advance the Council’s strategic objectives as outlined in Making Great Art Work.
