Philanthropy Administration Officer
The Royal Academy of Music is seeking a Philanthropy Administration Officer to join and support the Development team. You will assist the team with donor stewardship including gift acknowledgements, events and mailings, administering the Patrons programme, responding to general enquiries about giving opportunities at the Academy, helping to ensure the database is up to date, assisting with the preparation of proposals and materials, administering the department budget, organising team meetings and managing office supplies.
The Philanthropy Administration Officer will be heavily involved with ongoing campaign plans, supporting the Development team with special events, bespoke campaign and appeal donor stewardship and organising meetings with the Bicentenary Development Board. The successful candidate will enjoy using administration, organisation and prioritisation skills in a busy role and have good knowledge of MS Office and experience of maintaining database systems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships across the Academy and with donors are also key requirements for this role.
The Academy is looking for someone with previous experience of supporting the delivery of major projects whilst juggling a number of ongoing daily tasks, ideally within a similar HE or arts environment, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
