Call for Artists: MAKE 2024
Applications are now open for MAKE 2024, an artist development programme hosted at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Annaghmakerrig, Co Monaghan from 7 to 14 December 2024.
MAKE is an initiative of Cork Midsummer Festival, Dublin Fringe Festival, Project Arts Centre and Performing Arts Forum. It is open to artists for the purpose of generating new performance work outside of the traditional writer-led model at all career levels.
The residency supports artists at all career levels in creating new performance work outside traditional models, offering mentorship, group sessions, and access to facilities. Successful applicants will receive accommodation, an artist fee of €600, meals, and transport from Dublin.
Artists must demonstrate an ongoing project or new approaches to their practice. The application process requires an online form detailing previous work, project proposals, and expected benefits. The deadline for applications is 5pm on 14 October 2024, with successful candidates notified by 22 October.
