A celebration of (mostly) new with a touch of old music, November’s Kaleidoscope Night offering showcases chamber music that expands the sonic possibilities of the flute, featuring Australian flautist Lina Andonovska together with collaborators Ficino Ensemble, Matthew Jacobson(drums) and Michelle O’Rourke (voice).
The evening closes with Berri, featuring original work by Jenna Harris, Derek Whyte and Matthew Jacobson with the music they generate being a balance of improvised and clear communicative song. Curious music for curious ears…
