Digital Platforms Assistant

The Irish Film Institute (IFI) has developed and is in the process of launching new online platforms that will present IFI programmes across various IFI departments.

With these increased platforms, the IFI is seeking to appoint a Digital Platforms Assistant who will support the Digital Platforms Manager in delivering and maintaining these assets. The contract will initially be a fixed term 2-year full time rolling contract.

Person Specification
The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic, flexible person, with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, who will be able to work effectively on their own or as part of a dynamic team. They will have high organisational skills, excellent copywriting skills and have knowledge in all online marketing channels.

They will also have excellent IT, metadata creation and cataloguing experience and be familiar with the management of digital assets and the use of databases. They will have excellent time & project management skills and have an ability to work in a constantly busy work environment with a high level of time management. They should be motivated, energetic and results driven. A good team player, the candidate should have a genuine interest and passion for film and film culture.
