"It turns out that living here has only made us sound more American," says Beki Hemingway when asked about her music. Roots rock, cowpunk, and country influences can all be heard on Earth & Asphalt, the latest release from this Dundalk-via-Denver singer-songwriter, recorded mostly at home over lockdown. Hemingway has garnered high praise on both sides of the Atlantic for her heartfelt lyrics and "tough and tender" vocal delivery. Performing alongside husband/guitarist and long time collaborator Randy Kerkman, Beki is excited to be part of the An Tain Arts Centre's at-home series this November.
