Sample Studios in Cork is hiring a Programme Coordinator.

The role of the Programme Coordinator is to support the development and delivery of the TACTIC Visual Arts Programme of public exhibitions and events and the Sample-Studios’ Education Programme under the direction of the Artistic Director.

The Programme Coordinator main duties and responsibilities will be the:
1. Coordination of the TACTIC Visual Arts Programme in The Lord Mayor’s Pavilion and St. Luke’s Crypt, providing support to curators, exhibiting artists and residencies.
2. Coordination of the Education Programme, including Cork Creative Careers Programme for Primary Schools and the Cork Young Curators and Critics Programme for Young People.

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
– Excellent organisational, communication, project management and interpersonal skills
– A relevant third level qualification or minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an arts-based discipline
– Previous experience in a project management or coordination role, ideally within the creative and/or education sector.
– A strong awareness/ experience of the arts/ creative sector
– Demonstrable ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced deadline-orientated environment
– Demonstrable successful track record of delivering creative and/or educational public projects or programmes.
– You should be located within easy access of Cork City, Ireland.
