Traditional Singing Session with special guest Stuart Carolan

Stuart Carolan is a traditional singer from Co. Louth. The Great Grandson and Grandson of Patrick Usher Senior and Mary Ann Carolan who were both renowned performers of ballads and songs in the style and tradition of Co. Louth, Stuart is following in the footsteps of both and has gained a solid reputation in his own right. To date, Stuart has performed at such established singing festivals as Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, The Drogheda Singer’s Gathering and The Inishowen Folk Song and Ballad Seminar.

Our host is Macdara Yeates, a traditional singer, composer and producer from Dublin. Macdara has toured internationally both as a solo artist and with folk ensemble Skipper’s Alley, collaborated with award-winning theatre companies THEATREclub and Mouth on Fire, and produced work in association with Aiken Promotions, The St. Patrick's Festival, The Dublin Port Company and The Night Before Larry Got Stretched.

For audience members the session will be live streamed on our YouTube Channel and Facebook Page.

For those wishing to sing, you will need a smartphone or tablet or PC with a webcam and a Zoom account.
