Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is now seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Principal Cello.

This is a full time, contract position, with a salary of £33,813.

Based in Poole, Dorset, the BSO perform extensively across the south and south-west of England, nationally and internationally, and also deliver an extensive range of education and community work, through its award-winning Participate department.

Single round, unaccompanied auditions will be held in Poole and Bournemouth in the early autumn.

Requirements:
– 1st movement of Haydn C major or D major concerto (without cadenza)
– 1st movement of a major concerto (without cadenza)
