Pavel Steidl
One of the most widely celebrated classical guitar virtuosos of his generation, Pavel Steidl began his professional career after winning first prize at the prestigious Radio France International Guitar Competition in 1982.
Since then he has appeared in more than thirty countries all over the world, including Australia, Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, England, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Scotland. Spain, and the U.S.A. Mr. Steidl's June 1, 2012 Classical Guitar Weekend recital marks his debut performance in northeastern Ohio.
A musician of unique artistry and boundless energy, Pavel Steidl's highly expressive performances of rare 19th-century guitar literature on authentic instruments add a wonderful dimension to his exciting recitals. He is also well known for his interpretations of Baroque Music, especially the music of the Czech composer Johann Anthon Losy. His recordings include the critically acclaimed C.D., LEGNANI: Fantasia, Op. 19 /36 Caprices, Op. 20 (Naxos), Napoléon Coste: Guitar Works, Vol. 3 (Naxos), Guitar Music of the 18th & 19th Centuries (Panton), Mertz: Barden-Klange (Frame), and Paganini: Sonate & Ghirbizzi for Guitar (Frame).
In addition to his performaance activities, Mr. Steidl is a highly respected teacher and thoughtful composer for the guitar. He often includes his compositions in his performances. Pavel Steidl was born in a small town near Prague, Czech Republic in 1961. He first studied music at the Prague Conservatoire before becoming a student of the guitarist, composer, Stephan Rak.

Marco Ramelli
Born in Milan (Italy), Marco Ramelli is a guitarist, composer, artistic director and lecturer at TU Dublin Conservatoire of Music. He has performed all over the world to great acclaim at major concert halls, including performances at several international music festivals, including the Festival Paganini (Parma), the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Big Guitar Weekend in Glasgow, Aberdeen International Festival, Festival Castello Sforzesco (Milano), the Veria Festival (Greece), Istanbul guitar Festival (Turkey) and National Concert Hall in Dublin.
During his career, he has been awarded various first Prizes in important international competitions in Italy, Spain, UK, France and Serbia. As a composer, Marco won the prestigious "World Guitar Composition Competition" and his music is performed by internationally acclaimed soloists.
He is regularly invited to give lectures, workshops, and masterclasses at University worldwide including Royal Conservatory of Scotland, RNCM Manchester, Hong Kong Symposium, Conservatorio Boccherini Lucca. Marco Ramelli has recorded on the labels Nimbus Alliance, Brilliant Classics, Pilfink records, Naxos, Dynamic records. In 2018 he released an album with Brilliant Classics with the complete solo music by Federico Mompou and Roberto Gerhard. But his dedication to music is not only confined to his performances: Marco is also Artistic Director of some music festivals in Italy and Ireland - for instance Festival Corde d'Autunno in Milan and TouchTheSound Project. In 2019, Marco obtained a doctorate in performing arts from the University of St Andrews (UK).
