Commissioner Development Programme – BBC Arts
The BBC Commissioner Development Programme is an exciting 6 month training and development opportunity for disabled media professionals and those from a BAME background (black, Asian and minority ethnic).
BBC Arts develops and commissions programmes that connect audiences everywhere with the full range of art and culture in the UK. We are also committed to showcasing new talent, commissioning new art in broadcast form, and working in partnership with UK cultural organisations for the benefit of all.
The BBC Arts commissioning team is looking for someone with a genuine passion for Arts programming and an instinctive feel for storytelling to join their team. The ideal candidate will have current experience in Arts television (non-commissioning) on which to build with this placement. They will have relationships that extend beyond the world of broadcast into the world of arts and cultural more broadly and a proven commitment to supporting new talent and innovation in art forms both on and off screen.
