ConCorda Chamber Music Course for Strings 2025 is now open for applications.

ConCorda will take place from 2nd-9th August 2025, Newtown School, Waterford.

The application deadline is Friday, 9th May 2025.

ConCorda is open to string players aged 14 – 24 of grade 5 or equivalent playing standard and above.

The course, hosted this year in Newtown School in Waterford, offers an inspiring and transforming musical experience in chamber music, string orchestra and music improvisation. Participants study chamber music intensively at a high level with a staff of Irish and international tutors.

Please note: a 3-minute video submission, of a single piece of music, is required as part of your application.

NB: Applications without a video link will not be considered.

The participation fee is €600 and will include full board, accommodation and tuition fees.
