How I discovered this artist:

A Sunday Times feature

Why I gave the above rating:

This grunge-pop duo of sisters Ornait and Síomha Hennessy hail from the traditional music-playing family, Na Casaidigh, though the music they are now creating is a far cry from their trad roots. A rock hook on electric guitar and prominent drums and bass set the tone, before a softer, poppy chorus takes over. Sisterix blend these genres with their politically driven songwriting as in this track, they sing about the societal expectations on women's behaviour. This is their second single, after 'Another Reason to Hate You' was released in March.
