The inspiration for this concert is interconnection between sound and visual imagery, when music can enhance cross-modal perception and multimodal experiences similar to involuntary experiences of synesthesia.

The history of music physics goes back as far as Newton trying to find relationships between frequencies of sound and light. Many artists were inspired by music, and composers wrote music under the influence of art. Synesthetes are people with cross-sensory pairings who can transfer sound experience to visual and Art to Music.

Presented by Téada and Tetractys.
