Frequent performers at the NCH, RTÉ ConTempo quartet need little introduction. Multi award winning, this group have enthralled Irish audiences since their arrival to Ireland in 2003. The quartet are delighted to be joined by Latvian pianist Didzis Kalninš for what promises to be a wonderful lunchtime concert of chamber music featuring two popular, notorious and inventive compositions.

Having performed worldwide in many masterclasses and competitions, Didzis has also performed in many concerts both as a soloist and as an accompanist. In 2016, He achieved a first class Master’s Degree in Pianoforte performance at the Conservatorio di Musica di Vicenza in Italy, under the guidance of pianist and conductor Marco Tezza. Since, 2018 Didzis is a Doctor of Music in Performance candidate at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
