Senior Manager, Music Hubs

Arts Council England is seeking a full-time Senior Manager, Music Hub.

You will have the opportunity to influence and implement the policies that will impact on the musical lives of children and young people for the next decade. You will play a key role in ensuring the Arts Council effectively fulfils its role as fund holder for the programme on behalf of the Department for Education. You will support policy development, planning, programme management and stakeholder engagement for Music Hubs; coordinating and collaborating with teams across the organisation.

ACE is looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring music education is creative, diverse and inclusive. You will have considerable knowledge and understanding of Music Hubs and experience of working at a senior level with external stakeholders. You will be able to work lead, support and mentor teams and be keen to support colleagues to develop their skills and experience in their music education specialism.

As a Senior Manager, you will work with the Director, Music Education to ensure ACE effectively fulfils the role as fund holder on behalf of the Department for Education and that Music Hubs deliver against the Government’s vision as set out in the National Plan for Music Education.
