Create and Sing is the Royal Opera House’s flagship national learning programme based on dramatic-singing. The programme provides learning resources, lesson plans and delivers CPD training to school teachers across the country. The Create and Sing Project Manager will lead on content development, lesson plans and films and nurture relationships in the music and education sector alongside ROH colleagues.

This position is to lead upon the Create and Sing programme; extending the programme’s reach to provide arts & cultural access to young people and their teachers across the UK and managing the development of new schemes of work for KS1-KS3 classes, based upon the repertoire of the Royal Opera.

The Project Manager will be a dynamic individual responsible for collaborating to develop dramatic singing schemes of work for ROH’s digital Learning Platform; managing a National Programmes Officer, creative practitioners; co-coordinating and designing teacher training days, managing school and stakeholder relationships; monitoring and overseeing the Create and Sing Programme budget and the evaluation process.

This key role will work closely with the Head of National Programmes and the National School Partnership Manager to identify and develop partnerships for scaling up the programme and the L&P Opera Manager to ensure artistic and strategic alignment to other areas of the opera learning portfolio, to talent development programmes, and the work of The Royal Opera.
