In 2018, the band represents their exotic, post traumatic version of rock and roll, so authentically that their home country, Hungary, treasures them as one of the old classics of the current era. For this reason they are getting more and more conscious about delivering their sound to a larger audience in the USA and throughout Europe.

In the 8th year of the band’s existence they managed to record their upcoming album at EastWest Studios, one of the best facilities on this planet, with Wil Anspach, who worked with performers like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Vic Mensa or Muse. The idea was to work with someone who has produced in many different genres, so the distinctive soundscape of Ivan & the Parazol’s could be renewed. After they finished recording the album, they are returning with a European tour supporting Rival Sons, and festival gigs like Rock For People (CZ) or Sziget (HU).
