Culture Moves Europe Call for Residency Hosts
The Culture Moves Europe residency action call is open for applications until June 15th, 2023. The call provides financial support to organisations and individual artists registered as legal entities in Ireland, who want to host international artists and cultural professionals for a residency project. The Goethe-Institute, the organisation in charge of Culture Moves Europe funding applications and management, operates the call.
The grant is intended to welcome international artists and cultural professionals at the host’s premises to implement a residency project. The residency action targets legal entities such as non-profit, private, public bodies, and foundations, that are active in the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts, and visual arts. With this grant, Creative Europe supports the efforts of both established and recently founded organisations to give an international profile to their activities.
To apply, the applicant must be a representative of an organisation or a person registered as a legal entity. They must organise activities connected to at least one of the listed sectors and regularly organise artistic and cultural activities or have the capacity to implement an artistic and cultural residency project. The applicant must invite at least one and a maximum of five artists or cultural professionals who legally reside in at least one other Creative Europe country to take part in the residency project.
