The Arts Council seeks tenders from suitably qualified service providers to provide Visual Arts advisory services on Organisations (artists and public engagement). In light of the schedule of assessments, it is likely that sub-contractors will be required for the delivery of the services.

The successful Tenderer may be required to liaise with the Visual Arts Adviser Artists from time to time, as required.

The advice sought is primarily to cover areas of work described in Section 2 below.

2.1 Appraisal and assessment of funding applications from organisations

To assist the Council in the process of evaluating applications received from organisations for grants and other funding opportunities offered by the Council, either independently or in conjunction with another body. In visual arts, the number of applications for which a written assessment report is required within a calendar year is expected to be approximately:

– 90 primary assessments

– 75 secondary assessments
