Are you an experienced professional with at least five years of experience playing a key role in significant projects in the broad technology or innovation sector?

To take advantage of the growing crossover between tourism, culture and technology, Dublin City Council has teamed up with Fáilte Ireland (the National Tourism Development Authority) and Smart Dublin to support a new work stream focused on Smart Tourism. By developing specific projects, research and partnerships, it aims to identify future trends relevant to the tourism industry and how these might inform current and future tourism related projects and stimulating economic recovery across the Dublin city region.

This work stream is under the umbrella of Dublin City Council Culture Company and run in collaboration with Dublin City Council’s Smart City team. To support the establishment of this important and innovative work stream, they are seeking to appoint a Programme Manager to lead this initiative. Working on a specific purpose two-year full-time contract, the person will be responsible for the identification, development and implementation of activities and projects across a range of specific areas including tourism data and insights, augmented and virtual reality applications, ultimately enabling the promotion of tourism through a very different technology and creative lens.
