Join us for a sparkling evening of Baroque music, with all funds going to support bringing exquisite early music and education to Cork each October. Beloved Cork soprano Mary Hegarty joins the Cork Baroque Players to sing some Baroque favourites. The evening will also include a reflection on the music of J.S. Bach, in tribute to the late, great, baroque cellist, Anner Bylsma – focusing on the cello suites and related chorales, with members of the Cork Baroque Players performing alongside a quartet of some of Ireland’s finest young singers – Aisling Kenny, soprano; Francesco Giusti, counter-tenor; Peter Stobart, tenor; Daniel Beuster, bass.
