Culture Night Special Aimee Banks Soprano, accompanied by Kalle Peura Pianist 22nd Sept Town Hall Theatre Galway 2023 .
Aimee was the recipient of the 2023 Charles Wood International Song Competition (junior class) and of the Irene Sandford Award and Bursary 2022. A multi award winner at Feis Ceoil and Newpark Music Festival 2023 leading to a recent performance opportunity at the National Concert Hall. Aimee has performed concerts Nationally and Internationally.
Kalle, a renowned pianist, made his debut with the National Symphony Orchestra this year as part of the 2023 NSO Concerto Project. He is a graduate of Helsinki Conservatory and has performed all over Europe.
The programme includes pieces by Mahler, Puccini, Fauré and more.
