Northern Ballet is looking for a Pianist to join the Music Department.

You will be responsible for playing at Company rehearsals and ballet classes, at base and on tour. Reporting to the Music Director, you will work closely with our Artistic team but will also support our Academy and Learning departments. You may be called upon to perform in a solo or orchestral capacity, as required.

You will have professional experience as a repetiteur or accompanist with significant performance experience. You will be an individual who can work collegiately with a diverse range of artists and will take positively to feedback and direction.

The recruitment process will be as follows:
– Closing Date; 12noon 16 December 2020
– Successful Candidates will be informed on Thursday 17 December 2020
– Audition Date; 6 January 2021 at Quarry Hill, Northern Ballet

Trialists to be invited to work with the Company on short term contracts
They will be informed on 7 January 2021. First trial period is scheduled to take place 18 January to 14 March 2021
It is our intention that this role will be become full-time and permanent in nature with a competitive salary for the selected candidate.
