Martin Hayes and the Common Ground Ensemble
Martin Hayes’ virtuosic interpretations of Irish traditional melodies and eclectic collaborations, including the Gloaming (deemed “contemporary music-making at its best” by the Irish Times), have made him one of the most influential and impactful musicians in modern history. His newest undertaking, the Common Ground Ensemble, debuts this spring at Irish Arts Center in New York and the National Concert Hall in Dublin, and once again showcases the enduring language of Irish music in a global context.
