PPL PRS Ltd is seeking to appoint an independent non-executive Chair to lead the Board of Directors. 

The non-executive Chair is a member of the board of directors of the company who does not form part of the executive management team. They will not be an employee of the company.  

The non-executive Chair will provide the Board with an independent perspective on the operational matters being discussed and the benefit of their business expertise and knowledge and will lead the Board through the execution of the strategic business objectives of both PPL and PRS for Music. 

The appointee will be expected to attend all Board meetings (currently 6 meetings/year), and all Risk and Audit Committee meetings (currently 4 meetings/year), act as a mentor to the Managing Director and lead on the direction and development of relevant Committees.

The time commitment would be of approximately one day per month, and the fee is £40,000 per annum.
