Saturday, 18 March 2023, 7.30pm

‘NightVisiting’ is a celebration and a reimagining of those nights of sharing the old songs and stories. Created by Lisa Lambe, an internationally acclaimed Irish folk singer and actor, and adapted to each venue. The setting of St. Canice’s Cathedral overlooking Kilkenny’s medieval town, will make this a truly special event. Lisa will be joined by special guests Tim Doyle (Pipes Concertina), Mike Brookfield (Guitar) Wayne Sheehy (Percussion)

NightVisiting’, was first commissioned by The National Famine Museum in Strokestown, County Roscommon and was most recently performed as part of Tradfest Temple Bar.

This event is part of Kilkenny Tradfest which runs from March 15th - 19th 2023.
