Teacher Artist Partnership: Artist and Creative Practitioner Call Out

The Teacher Artist Partnership+ (TAP+) 2024/25 invites artists and creative practitioners from all disciplines to apply for a professional development and in-school residency programme. This initiative, part of Creative Youth 2023-27 under Creative Ireland and led by the Department of Education, aims to foster creative partnerships between artists, teachers, and children in primary and special schools across Ireland.

Training will occur from 1st to 5th July 2024 at local Education Support Centres, offering a €150 daily allowance, travel, and lunch. Participants will also engage in a funded 20-hour in-school residency during the 2024/25 school year, receiving a total fee of €1,100.

Applicants must have at least three years of professional practice, a commitment to arts in education, and willingness to complete child protection training and Garda vetting. Expressions of interest, including a letter and CV, must be submitted to the Director of the local Education Support Centre by 5pm on 7th June 2024.
