The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is inviting applications for funding to replace or purchase new instruments for bands. This programme supports bands in Northern Ireland, focusing on enhancing musical quality and education. Eligible applicants include formally constituted bands such as Accordion Orchestras, Brass Bands, Concert Bands, Flute Bands, Pipe Bands, and Wind Bands.

Applications are not accepted from bands that received funding from this programme in the past five years or from individuals and organisations in breach of previous grant terms. Funds can be used for various equipment including drum sticks, amplifiers, and music stands, but not for second-hand instruments, uniforms, travel, or tuition costs.

Applications must be submitted online by 12pm on Monday, 30 September 2024.
