Peer Mentor Panel

Peer Mentor Panel

Friday, 6 November 2020, 5.00pm

Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) is developing a peer mentor panel.
This is open to DCCI client enterprises who make a professional living from their craft & design practice.

Would you like to share your technical, design and business insights whilst giving back to the industry on an occasional basis?

The initial recruitment phase will select a group of peer mentors, with further expansion in 2022 should it prove successful.

This programme administered by DCCI will have a peer to peer ethos, with a specifically selected evaluation panel that is independent of DCCI personnel.

Selected peer mentors will have a high level of competence in their technical, design and production skills as well as a passion for the design and craft industry.

Peer mentors will provide a confidential sounding board for design and business ideas, drawing from their own craft, design and enterprise experiences and ongoing research.

A mentoring assignment can involve a number of mentoring sessions of 2.5 to 3 hours per session, to a maximum of five sessions depending on the requirements.
