Cultural Officer for Ireland in Paris

Culture Ireland, in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs, is seeking a new Cultural Officer to work as part of Team Ireland at the Embassy of Ireland in Paris.

Applicants must have a third-level qualification, or a minimum of five years’ professional experience in the arts and culture sector with a proven ability to deliver arts and cultural projects. The candidate should be a native speaker of French or English and have a minimum C1-level knowledge in the other language and also must have a legal entitlement to live and work in France prior to recruitment.

The successful candidate will support Culture Ireland as required in the effective delivery of its showcase events, and assist in the development, delivery and promotion of cultural events generally on behalf of Culture Ireland, DFA and other relevant state bodies e.g. Tourism Ireland, including flagship or large-scale initiatives and cultural programmes for high-level visits by the President and Taoiseach. The successful candidate will be the fourth Cultural Officer appointed under this partnership with the other Officers working in New York London and Los Angeles.
