Frédéric Pelassy & Thérèse Fahy

Thursday, 13 February 2020, 6.30pm

Once upon a time… a turn of the century that saw French composers writing masterpieces, vying to be the most inventive, refining nuances and bringing elegance to the form.

Debussy, Ravel, Saint-Saëns, Massenet, Fauré, Lalo will be revisited by French violinist Frédéric Pelassy, whose latest recorded work was released with the aim of highlighting this extraordinary ‘French touch’ quality found in the music. Frédéric will be joined by Thérèse Fahy, one of Ireland’s foremost solo pianists, Professor of piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and recently named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government.
