Head of Audience and Content Planning
The Royal Opera House in London is looking to appoint a Head of Audience and Content Planning to shape and deliver the audience and content planning strategy, working closely with key stakeholders internally. You will draw together high quality audience insight and demonstrate a sound understanding of the different media and platforms available to inform these discussions and develop the strategy. You will also oversee progress to the agreed plan and enable the creative and delivery teams through providing creative briefs and relevant information flow.
This is a highly consultative and collaborative role, working across a number of different disciplines to maximise the opportunity for audience and content planning at the Royal Opera House.
The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in a similar role, with:
– Senior level experience in an audience or content planning role in a globally renowned creative multiplatform organisation and can demonstrate successful engagement with leading artistic, editorial or content-makers
– Outstanding relationship management skills and ability to act as ambassador for the role both internally and externally
– Strategic craft skills - experience of using audience insight to create a real impact on a business
– Ability to drive forward the strategy development process for audience content and work to lead times to enable successful output from delivery teams
– Experience in providing creative briefs to a high standard for commissioned content
– Ability to work to and support a culture of continuous improvement
