Lemoncello release their second EP ‘Oil and Water’, a sequel to ‘Stuck Upon the Staircase’ released in 2018, deemed as ‘baroque folk, good for the head and heart’ by The Irish Times. Since its release, Laura and Claire have performed extensively in Ireland and abroad and their shows described as ‘ramshackle and sassy’ saw the pair nominated for RTE 1’s ‘Best Emerging Folk Act’ in 2019.

‘Oil and Water’ is a lyrical reflection and acceptance of the fragile, contradictory and temporary aspects of human nature, behaviour and emotion, conquered and uplifted by a soundscape of close vocal harmony, cello, guitar, double bass and harp instrumentation.
