Gael Linn began broadcasting a series of live videos on their Facebook page every Thursday at 6pm. The series is called ‘Teach le Chéile’, where we will visit well-known singers, musicians and storytellers. The series began on the 7th May and to date we have been in Cúil Aodha with renowned musician, Peadar Ó Riada, in Mín an Iolair with acclaimed sean-nós singer Máire Ní Choilm, in Cork with the well-known storyteller, Pádraig Ó Brian, in Ranelagh with Na Casaidigh - Feargus and his two sons, Maitiú and Stiofán, in the Waterford Gaeltacht of An Rinn, with multi-instrumentalist Caoimhín Ó Fearghail, in Ráth Chairn Glas na Mí with the singing sisters Étáin and Máire Ní Churraoin, also known as 'An Chéad Ghlúin Eile', in Inis Oírr, Aran, with highly acclaimed sean-nós singer, Lasairfhíona Ní Chonaola and in Tipperary with the well-known poet and writer, Áine Ní Ghlinn.

On this week's episode, we will be joined by the well-known band IMLÉ. Founded in 2015, IMLÉ have a mix of sound in their music, from rap, rock and pop. They have performed on numerous platforms throughout the country, at Electric Picnic, at 'Féile na Bealtaine' in Dingle, at 'Liú Lúnasa' and also abroad. They appeared on TG4's 20th anniversary program, TG4 XX. They have released albums under the Gael Linn record label and in 2017, they released Gael Linn's first vinyl record in thirty years. In the same year, IMLÉ won the 'Best Song', 'Best Album' and 'Best Band' awards at the NÓS Music Awards - an event that celebrates contemporary music. At the beginning of the year, IMLÉ played at the prestigious Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow at a sold-out concert at the Centre for Contemporary Art.
