MTU Cork School of Music is delighted to announce the return of its Transition Year Work Experience Programmes in early-2023. Now in its fifth year, these dynamic programmes have already provided hundreds of young people from across the country with the unique opportunity of developing their own professional practice in the creative and performing arts.

Expressions of interest are now welcome across five specialist disciplines:
drama (9 - 10 Jan);
Irish traditional music (9 - 10 Jan);
musical theatre (11 - 12 Jan);
popular music (12 - 13 Jan); and
symphony orchestra (7 - 10 Feb).

The closing date for expressions of interest is Thursday 1 December 2022 with offers of placement issued by Monday 19 December 2022. Depending on the amount of applications received, it may not be possible to accommodate all interested parties.
