From the opening clarinet glissando of Rhapsody in Blue to the timeless classics ‘Embraceable You’ and ‘Someone to Watch Over Me’, George Gershwin’s music continues to enchant the public in the twenty-first century. Join soprano Sandra Oman, baritone Simon Morgan, pianist David Wray, and actor Pete McCamley in the role of George Gershwin, as they celebrate the man and his music, interpreting such standards as: Someone to Watch over me; Embraceable you; Summertime; But not for me; ‘S Wonderful; They can’t take that away from me; Let’s call the whole thing off; Lady, be good; How long has this been going on; I got Rhythm; and more!! A stunning lunchtime celebration of one of the twentieth century’s greatest composers.
