Opera Workshop seeks Instrumentalists

We are seeking 4 instrumentalists for a contemporary opera production in Limerick, May 2024.
Funded by the Arts Council of Ireland and Limerick City & County Co we are delighted to be producing
The Ballybruff Trilogy by Luke Byrne at the Belltable Theatre, Limerick.

The Trilogy comprises 3 x 30 minute contemporary operas with a cast of 6 singers.
Composer Luke Byrne will conduct the operas from the piano.
We specifically require one each of the following:
Violinist
Cellist
Clarinettist (double on bass Clarinet)
Flautist

Rehearsals in Limerick with composer / conductor Luke Byrne – week of 20th May
Tech, Dress and Performances – week of 27th May
Three Performances between Wednesday 29th May and Saturday 1st June
Previous experience of working in opera or as part of an ensemble that included vocalists is highly desirable.
