Described as ‘immaculate and brilliant’ by Gramophone, the Chineke! Orchestra celebrates its 10th anniversary. It is an all-star line-up for one of the most renowned works for multiple soloists by Beethoven, as Tai Murray, Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Isata Kanneh-Mason join the orchestra to play Beethoven’s Triple Concerto.

Coleridge-Taylor’s Ballade is a lush orchestral extravaganza and has become something of a signature piece for the orchestra who are long-time champions of the composer. Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony vibrantly borrows from African-American spirituals.

The evening includes the Irish premiere of FLOURISH, a new work by the Belize-born British composer Errollyn Wallen. She has composed for the Queen’s Golden and Diamond Jubilees, a specially commissioned song for COP 26, and a re-imagining of Jerusalem for the Last Night of the Proms.
