Leitrim County Council’s International Award programme is designed to support Leitrim based professional artists from any arts discipline to develop new opportunities to perform, exhibit or have their work presented outside the island of Ireland.

Eligible purposes or goals include:
– Performances by professional companies or individuals. (Music, theatre, circus, dance etc.)
– Filmmakers presenting work at key international film festivals.
– Visual artists exhibiting at recognised art fairs/galleries.
– Readings by writers/poets at recognised venues or literary festivals.
– Unique high-quality one-off or site-specific events in any arts discipline.

The value of an award rises to a maximum of €2,000 (Maximum €500 for research).
