Black Brook is the new release from Moynihan, a trio of siblings who have carved out a wonderful reputation for themselves across a variety of musical genres. This is a return to their traditional musical roots. Deirdre on fiddle/vocals, Diarmaid on pipes/whistles and Donncha on guitars/bouzouki have recorded and toured with many of the household names in World Music including Donal Lunny, Lunasa, Carlos Nunez, Mike McGoldrick, Cherish the Ladies and many more. All three musicians were members of Calico, the ground breaking band in the early noughties and are all respected composers. Their long awaited new album is a collection of traditional and contemporary music and features guest appearances by Liam O' Maonlaoi and Martin Leahy. Not to be missed!
