Wednesday, 21 February 2024, 12.00pm

Dublin City Council announces an open call for proposals for Cruinniú na nÓg 2024, inviting children, young people, artists, creative practitioners, professional bodies, cultural organisations, and community groups to submit proposals for events to be held on the national day of free creativity for children and young people, Saturday 15th June 2024, across Dublin City. This initiative seeks to include projects that may span a longer duration with culminating events on 15th June.

Eligible proposals should originate from within the Dublin City Council Administrative Area and must present a clear, feasible budget, demonstrate the capacity for completion by the designated date, and propose creative content and activities in any medium, including but not limited to performance, digital arts, literature, and heritage. Proposals should also include plans for appropriate remuneration for any engaged artists or creative professionals.

Priority will be given to projects that increase access to creative activities for children and young people with limited opportunities and those that incorporate the Irish language and Irish Sign Language. The deadline for submission is 12 noon, Wednesday 21st February 2024.
