An Chúirt Chruitireachta | International Festival for Irish Harp 2021

A Festival of Irish Harping that includes Morning Workshops, Lunchtime Concerts with the Rising Stars of Irish Harping, Afternoon Events, Evening Concerts, Early Irish Harp, Harp Play-alongs, Talks & Lectures, Songs and Stories, Harp Makers and much more. All online for one week from Sunday 27 June to Friday 2 July.

Festival Opening Event Sunday 27 June at 4pm. Meet the Harp Makers at 5pm.

Workshops from Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 12:30pm with the top Irish Harp tutors: Máire Ní Chathasaigh, Gráinne Hambly, Áine Ní Dhubhghaill, Anne-Marie O’Farrell, Cormac de Barra, Kim Fleming, Deirdre Granville, Deirdre Ní Bhuachalla, Úna Ní Fhlannagáin.

The Thosel Interludes - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 to 1:30pm with Louth Music Generation Harp Ensemble (Monday 28 June), The Triad Trio : Fiona Gryson, Rachel Duffy and Síofra Ní Dhubhghaill (Tuesday 29 June) and Clann Uí Scolaí : Emer, Caoilfhionn & Sorcha Uí Scolaí on harp, uilleann pipes and concertina (Thursday 1 July).

Tuesday, 8pm Radharc Siar, The Drogheda Harp Story narrated by Dr Teresa O’Donnell with harpers Cormac de Barra, Deirdre Granville, Úna Ní Fhlannagáin, Deirdre Ní Bhuachalla, Anne-Marie O’Farrell and Gerry O’Connor (fiddle).
Wednesday, 8pm Réálta ó Thuaidh, Stars Align with Eilis Lavelle (harp), Zoe Conway (fiddle) and John McIntyre (guitar).
Thursday, 8pm Ceolchoirm na Féile with Siobhán Armstrong (early Irish harp) and Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde (singer). Máire Ní Chathasaigh (harp) and Chris Newman (guitar).
