
2024 European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards
The 2024 European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards are open for applications until 13 October 2023. The awards aim to identify and promote best practices in the conservation and enhancement of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage across Europe.
Entries can be submitted in five categories: Conservation & Adaptive Reuse, Research, Education, Training & Skills, Citizens Engagement & Awareness-raising, and Heritage Champions. Up to 30 projects will be recognised, and up to five winners will receive a Grand Prix accompanied by a €10,000 monetary award. An additional Public Choice Award of €10,000 will also be conferred following an online vote.
The awards are supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and have been run by Europa Nostra since their inception in 2002. Two free webinars to assist with application preparation are scheduled for 30 August and 15 September 2023; registration is required.
