Celebrating 100 Years of Irish Traditional Music at UCC

The Department of Music at UCC are delighted to present a concert celebrating 100 years of Irish Traditional Music at University College Cork. One of a series of events honouring the centenary, the concert will take place at 1:10 pm on Friday November 4th at the Aula Maxima, as part of the Fuaim lunchtime concert series.

The concert will also mark the launch of "Celebrating 100 Years of Irish Traditional Music at UCC: Volume 1", a new album of Irish Traditional Music, and an accompanying companion webpage produced by the Department of Music to showcase its vibrant traditional music community.

The performance will feature a host of internationally celebrated staff and current students, along with the UCC / Arts Council Traditional Artist in Residence for 2022, Caitlín Nic Gabhann.
