The latest episode of TG4’s Ceolaireacht will air on 9 March at 9.30pm, with presenter and fiddle player Doireann Ní Ghlacáin exploring the traditional music heritage of Wexford.

Now in its third season, Ceolaireacht explores traditional music in different regions across Ireland and Scotland. While areas such as west Clare, Sliabh Luachra, and Donegal are often regarded as strongholds of traditional music, the series highlights the music of lesser-known regions. This season has explored the music of Belfast, south Leitrim, Wexford and Glasgow.

In this episode, Ní Ghlacáin visits Wexford to gain an insight into the county’s regional style and its place within the broader Irish traditional music landscape. She meets Mark Redmond, John, Pip and Tanya Murphy, Stephen James Smith, Richard Breen, Éire and Chulainn Ó Faoláin, and more.

The previous episode of Ceolaireacht can be viewed on the TG4 Player.
