Dublin City Council has announced a public meeting to discuss the establishment of a new arts and cultural centre in the Dublin North Central area. The meeting will take place at Coolock Library on Wednesday 26 March from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Organised by the Dublin City Council Area Office and Arts Office, the meeting aims to bring together artists, residents and local organisations to discuss the possibilities for the proposed centre. The discussion will focus on forming a working group to identify potential sites and funding sources. The North Central area is one of five areas administered by Dublin City Council. It includes Kilbarrack, Raheny, Belmayne, Clongriffin, Donaghmede, Coolock, Clontarf and Fairview.

According to the Council, the project is at an early stage and the development of the centre is expected to take several years. The meeting will take the form of a town hall-style discussion, allowing attendees to contribute ideas and perspectives on the new facility.
